The Purple and Pink Ride - 2016 Edition: Sydney to Melbourne

Story

I'm a mild epileptic, so the work done by Epilepsy Australia means a lot to me, and I wanted to support them by raising money.

From the 17th to the 30th of September, I will be riding from Sydney to Melbourne, arriving the day before the 2016 AFL Grand Final. I will be riding for two charities, one of them being Epilepsy Australia.

To learn more about this ride, go to http://www.athousandmiles.net/purple-and-pink-ride-2016-edition-sydney-to-melbourne/

I would be grateful if you'd be able by giving whatever you can by clicking the "Donate" button.

The more people that know about Epilepsy Australia, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Epilepsy Australia

Epilepsy is a disorder of brain function that takes the form of recurring seizures. As the world’s most common serious brain disorder it currently affects some 230,000 Australians.

At Epilepsy Australia we provide vital epilepsy first aid information and education to all those living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders.

We are committed to raising community awareness and understanding of the very real issues faced by those living with epilepsy. The unpredictable nature of seizures can force people to stay at home, fearful of a seizure occurring in public.

Would you know what to do if you saw someone having a seizure?

Epilepsy Australia’s goal is for every household in Australia to be seizure aware.

By supporting Epilepsy Australia you can help us achieve our goal.
