Story
Hi there!
I'm gearing up and making a difference by fundraising for a cause that's close to my heart. This is my ride to Sydney or your ride to Sydney if you join. The ride is raising money for Epilepsy Action Australia. As you know my son Tom suffers from epilepsy. If you join me I am asking for a donation of $100. The ride starts at the Gates Hotel Adamstown and will finish at the Lord Nelson Hotel in the Rocks. The ride follows the Fernleigh Track onwards to Lake Munmorah then back to the Coast Hwy to Ettalong Beach. Lunch will follow and then we proceed to the ferry which takes us to Palm Beach. Cost is ($11.20). From Palm Beach we ride to Manly Wharf and catch the ferry to Circular Quay ($7.60). It is a ride, not a race, so all riders are welcome although please keep in mind it is 130 kilometres and expected to take around 10hrs with breaks. The ride is broken up in about 20 kilometre stages so people can catch up.
It is your responsibility to arrange for transport home. Some will catch the train back after drinks at the Lord Nelson and some may stay in Sydney overnight.
