Story
Challenge for Change exists to raise awareness of extreme poverty and to change the lives of those who currently live within these dehumanising conditions. We like seeing our event participants suffer for such a worthwhile cause. Hence our motto, 'Challenging events, Changing lives.'
Back by popular request, and in celebration of 10 cycling fundraisers for Eagles Wings, we are staying local in 2018, heading out around the beautiful countryside of South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
Iconic destinations such as Tenterfield, Texas and the Bunya Mountains await. The challenge will be significant, but the end result worth it for the difference we will make to the children of Zambia.
7 cycling days in late September 2018

We want 2018 to be our biggest year yet. Currently EW Australia supports over 500 beneficiaries within the four small communities of Overspill, Bunga, Twapia and Kanyala in Ndola, Zambia These communities are our focus and our inspiration. This year as a team we want to raise over $50,000 and gain ongoing support for over 50 students and family program beneficiaries.

Eagles Wings is a small not-for-profit aid and development organisation. We work in communities on the outskirts of Ndola, Zambia. The communities include about 20,000 people. Our passionate focus is to see vulnerable children reach their God-given potential. Three key words define our mission: HOPE], GENEROSITY] and ADVENTURE. Our programs aim to bring long term benefit to communities living in extreme poverty. We provide high quality education to children and adults. Education helps to increase options for parents and children, and lasting changes for families. We also provide immediate crisis care for children living in vulnerable or abusive situations by placing children into caring, community based homes. Eagles Wings is proud to be a partner for Project J427 Eagles Wings Zambia with Global Development Group (ABN: 57 102 400 993), an Australian approved Non-Government Organisation. Gifts over $2 with a preference for this approved development project are tax deductible, receipts issued by Go Fundraise on behalf of GDG. Excess funds may be directed to another approved activity.
