Story
Hi Family & Friends,
I'm gearing up for another Tasmania Police Charity Bike Ride - we are taking on Tassies West Coast; Sheffield to Tarraleah. This has become an event that I look forward to all year.
In 2022, the Police Charity Trust is seeking our support in making a difference to local families across Tasmania, and our fund raising activities will be directly donated to St Giles and Autism Tasmania.
St Giles is a trusted service in Tasmania that assists with disability support services, childhood behaviour intervention programs, autism services, pediatric allied health services, mobility services and many specialists including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, clinical care and disability support workers.
Autism Tasmania is committed to improving the lives of adults and children on the autism spectrum, their families, and carers; and to improving community awareness, acceptance, and understanding of autism. They work closely with Tasmanian members and the extended autism community to advocate for equity and fairness.
Both of the charities above are important to many Tasmanian families who rely on the kind donations received through events like our annual bike ride.
I am really appreciative of any support you can provide, so my part of this years charity ride can make a difference.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly to the charities, and becomes a tax deduction for you.
Thank you for your support,
Simon
