Strong Women Club
Story
Hello!
We are a group of women with one thing in common. We want to raise awareness, tackle the stigma and raise funds for better treatments for pelvic organ prolapse (POP). POP is a debilitating condition that is estimated to affect 1 in 4 women. It's often caused by childbirth and remains a taboo topic. As a result, there has been very little research into improving surgical treatments for POP, leaving too many women to struggle and suffer in silence.
We come from a variety of backgrounds. Some of us have not had children and some of us are new and not so new mums. POP can happen to any woman.
The amazing researchers at the Hudson Institute are leading the way in pioneering new methods to prevent and treat POP. If you're interested in the incredible ground breaking science behind it, please see the links below:

Our team come from countries across the world and are gearing up to raise awareness for this unknown but devastating condition. Throughout summer 2021 we will be walking, biking, skating and swimming to start to tackle the taboo and raise some much overdue cash for this cause. Ladies, let's do this!
Thanks so much for your support!
