Story
Hi everyone,
my name is Andrea Gramai, I was born in Sardinia (Italy), in 1987. At the age of 27 I decided to set off traveling and I never stopped since.
When I was living and working in Genova (Italy) I started the most challenging and amazing thing I've ever done: I started volunteering for the Pagiassi V.I.P. association as a clown doctor.
When I first entered a room full of sleeping children with bandages on their head, and their desperate parents by their bedside, I was deeply moved. I tried my best to bring them some distraction and some delight. What they really need is something else though, something bigger.
With my travels I'm raising funds for the Children's Cancer Institute in Melbourne.
This cause is really close to my heart so I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.

Ciao a tutti!
mi chiamo Andrea Gramai, sono nato in Sardegna nel 1987. A 27 anni ho deciso di mettermi in viaggio e da allora non mi sono più fermato.
Quando vivevo e lavoravo a Genova, ho iniziato un percorso molto importate della mia vita: la clownterapia nelle strutture ospedaliere con l'associazione I Pagiassi V.I.P.
La prima volta che entrai in una stanza dove si trovavano bambini con delle bende in testa, addormentati, con al loro capezzale dei genitori disperati, non è stato facile. Io, nel mio piccolo ho fatto del mio meglio per far passare loro dei momenti di distrazione e gioia. Ma quello di cui hanno veramente bisogno questi bambini è ben altro.
Con il mio viaggio sto promuovendo una raccolta fondi in collaborazione con il Children Cancer Insitute di Melbourne, che si occupa di ricerca contro i tumori infantili.
Questa, come potete capire, è una causa che mi sta tanto a cuore e se mi aiutate in questo mio progetto vi sarò per sempre grato.
Vi ricordo che le donazioni attraverso questa piattaforma sono completamente sicure e andranno direttamente all'Istituto.
