***BREAKING NEWS!  After 474km and 39hours45mins I have completed the Everesting Challenge.  Thank you to everyone that supported me on my journey - raising much needed funds for Guide Dogs Victoria.  

Hi there!

Guide Dogs Victoria receives less than 9% of their funding needs from the government. Donations from the public will help those cute little puppies to become working guide dogs. Did you know that it takes:

$70 to help a puppy stay healthy by covering the cost of vaccinations for a year.

$1500 to provide veterinary care for one pup for one year

$35000 to breed, raise and train a guide dog.

I will be attempting an Everest challenge on March 30-31 and I am hoping you will support me by making a donation to Guide Dogs Victoria. I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.

 The concept of Everesting is fiendishly simple: Pick any hill, anywhere in the world and ride repeats of it in a single activity until you climb 8,848 metres – the equivalent height of Mt Everest. 

“FIENDISHLY SIMPLE, YET BRUTALLY HARD. EVERESTING IS THE MOST DIFFICULT CLIMBING CHALLENGE IN THE WORLD.”

My challenge will be to climb a hill of 1.1 km 215 times. 500 kms over approximately 32 hours. 

I have set my target as $8848 to match $1 for every metre to climb..

I have been dared to wax my hairy legs for the ride. I have accepted the dare and will get my legs waxed for the first time ever when $2000 has been donated
